Helping you create a weird and wonderful life with your dogs and cats

Who We Are

Hi, I’m Vicky!

I am the resident cat (and dog!) lady and am passionate about elevating our understanding of cats and cat behaviour to the level it is for dogs. Cats are so often misunderstood but they are truly incredible animals.

I love supporting you with any and all cat behaviour - inter-cat conflict, litterbox issues (my fav!), or thinking through how to introduce a second cat to your home. I also get to blend the best of both worlds - dogs and cats - and I am excited to offer cat-dog integration services to ensure your home is as calm and stress-free as can be.

My other true love is enrichment and I bring a heavy enrichment focus to both my cat and my dog behaviour work - particularly with fearful or nervous dogs. I will get you hooked, too!

Hey there, I’m Liz!

My job is to morph into you and your dog’s one-woman-cheerleading-and-sometimes-swearing-team and I take my job very seriously. I am endlessly inspired by the resilient dogs I get to meet and the incredible humans who care for them. It’s a privilege to work alongside you.

As a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer I absolutely love puzzling through separation anxiety together so your dog can be happy home alone and you can get your life back. Tricky behaviour cases where there is likely a physical underpinning are my jam and I have an obsession with understanding the link between pain and behaviour. I offer gait and movement analysis as both a stand-alone behavioural offering and integrated in all my dog behaviour work.

Here’s what I can support you with!

What you can expect when working with us

We don’t view behaviour as a problem that needs to be fixed - instead, we focus on the why behind the behaviour. We help you understand your pet better to address the issues that are causing stress.

We know that behaviour doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Our approach is comprehensive, focusing on your pet’s mental and physical health and wellness in addition to teaching new skills.

All of our training plans—whether they are for a dog with separation anxiety or a new kitten —are force-free and formulated in collaboration with you, taking into account your pet as an individual, your unique family, and your goals.

Why train with Little Weirdos?

We believe training should be humane and evidence-based while also embracing the silliness and joy that our pets bring to our lives.

We do our best to deliver the most up-to-date and evidence-based techniques and information because, to be honest, we’re pretty big nerds. We love to expand our knowledge and learn from the best in animal behaviour to be able to translate that to you.

We love dogs and cats and humans and we promise we’ll support YOU just as much as we’ll support your pet.
